The African Communities Association (ACA) Inc. Gold Coast was formed in 2006. It is a non-profit community-based organisation. The ACA aims to share African traditions and heritage through performance, education and training programs and festivals.

to involve people from Africa regardless of age, religion or gender in the life of the Gold Coast;

to promote African communities and culture to the wider Gold Coast community;

to assist with problems associated with social isolation and,

to work with the youth of the community.
